Laboratory Cal/Val Workshop, (Bucharest – Romania) – March 2017

The workshop objective is “Develop draft cal/val and NG EO science plan in the OPTIMISE context to support ESA FLEX”.

  • 13th March:    The workshop will start at 2pm and the afternoon session will be held in the Novotel Bucharest City Centre ( http://www.novotel.com/gb/hotel-5558-novotel-bucharest-city-centre/index.shtml)
  • 14th March:  We will visit the National Institute for Laser, Plasma and Radiation Physics, Photonics Investigations Laboratory < http://cetal.inflpr.ro/phil >  hosted by Dr Dan Sporea and discuss the practicalities of calibrating and characterising spectrometers and associated uncertainties
  • 15th March: The workshop will be held in the Novotel, start at 9pm and aim to finish between 12:00 and  13:00
